Boston's Low-Income Program

The City of Boston believes that every Bostonian should be able to afford a Hubway membership.

Together with the Boston Public Health Commission, the City of Boston offers $5 Hubway memberships to low-income residents of Boston. These memberships include a helmet and a Bicycle Benefits sticker (by request).

The $5 membership cost gives you unlimited 60-minute rides. Take as many rides as you want. Keep each ride under 60 minutes to avoid additional usage fees.
