Fenway Park

Home to the Boston Red Sox baseball team, Fenway opened in 1912 and is the oldest ball park in the MLB.

In addition to being the oldest, Fenway is also one of the smallest in the MLB. It's nestled into the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood where there isn't much room to expand, so renovators have had to get creative with space, resulting in unique features like the "Green Monster" – a 37-foot green wall that's famous for preventing line-drive home runs that would have cleared the walls of other ball parks.

In 1912, Fenway's centennial, the park was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Today it's one of the most well-known sports venues in the world.
