Join

Sign up online today for an Annual or Monthly Membership and within a week you’ll receive your own Hubway key!  Use it to unlock any of the bicycles in our network, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 3 seasons a year. The cost of your membership includes unlimited rides less than 30 minutes in duration, however, longer rides incur additional usage fees.

Take

Insert your key into any bike dock with an available bike.  When the green light blinks, pull the handlebars firmly toward you to release the bike.

Ride

Ride joyfully!  Enjoy your trip to work or school, run an errand or grab a bite.  The pedaling possibilities are endless!  Always wear a helmet and be aware of your ride time.

Return

Return the bike to any Hubway station.  Push the front wheel firmly into an empty dock.  Wait for the green light to turn on so that you’re confident that bike has been properly secured and your rental complete. 

Access Passes -

Short Term Cycling

24-Hour and 3-Day Passes are available for purchase at any Hubway station, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 3 seasons a year. Simply swipe your credit or debit card and follow the instructions on the touch-screen kiosk. Confirm acceptance of User Agreement and usage fees.  You may ride as many times as you’d like during your Pass period, just swipe your card to obtain a new unlocking code. The cost of your Pass includes unlimited rides under 30 minutes, however, longer rides incur additional usage fees.

Take

Print or remember your unique unlocking code, provide upon completion of your Pass purchase.  Enter the code at any bike dock with an available dock, and when the green light appears, pull the handlebar firmly toward you to release the bike.
